The Division of Gastroenterology at Newton-Wellesley Hospital provides Greater Boston communities with wide-ranging clinical expertise in all areas of gastroenterology and hepatology (liver diseases). Our highly-trained, Board Certified gastroenterologists provide specialized care for esophageal disorders, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), disorders of the small intestine and colon including inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis), colon cancer screening, liver diseases, and disorders of the pancreas, gallbladder, and bile ducts. The Division of Gastroenterology provides all aspects of endoscopic evaluation and treatment including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound, Video Capsule Endoscopy, ablation treatments for Barrett’s esophagus, and evaluation of gastrointestinal motility disturbances with esophageal and anorectal manometry. All aspects of Digestive Health are managed in a multidisciplinary fashion with close collaboration with our acute care surgeons, colorectal surgeons, gastrointestinal oncologists.
