Mass General for Children pediatric surgeons provide a wide range of pediatric surgical care at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Our doctors are internationally known for their clinical expertise and research efforts.
Our doctors have specialized expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques for children and teens, which generally involve smaller incisions and quicker recovery times for patients. Although we perform most surgeries at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, we will refer children who are critically ill or who have complex needs to Mass General for Children.
Our Child Life service provides guidance and comfort to our pediatric patients. This is a guide that younger patients may benefit from viewing prior to surgery.
